If one thing was clear during Bruce Corbitt's memorial, it was the amount of people that were touched and influenced by this musician, husband, son, father, mentor and friend of so many.

Bruce Corbitt relentlessly pursued and promoted what he loved in life, including his sports teams, his music, his family, and the love of his life. When faced with the reality of his own eminent demise, rather than give up and give in, he pursued a cure, fought the fight and promoted it every step of the way gaining a whole new set of fans and followers among the heart and cancer community and inspiring fellow fighters. He left his fans, his friends and his family knowing that he loved us, that he’d done all he could and that when the time comes for each of us, we have an Icon to look up to. Whether it’s love, life, sports, music, art or health may we always promote what we love and fight the good fight. This is what I learned from my friend Batman. Yours always, Lois Lane.
DFW lost one of its greatest champions. Bruce was not just one of the greatest vocalists to come from our scene, but also one of its biggest fans and promoters. He was part of a dying breed of true Rock and Rollers who lived for the music. There will never be another like him. Casey Orr
I’m don’t believe I’ll ever get accustomed to a DFW metal scene with out Bruce Corbitt and his dedication to it. And I damn sure will never get used to not having my long time friend in the world. Bruce’s commitment to his family, friends and Metal was unrivaled. It was an honor to be his friend. Hardin Harrison
Short and sweet..."my life will never be the same" Jeanna Corbitt
